The Journey Begins

Here is the first week of the rest of our lives as we bring UltraLearn to the world!

The Journey Begins

Like every journey, here is the very first step as we begin this journey called UltraLearn. For starters, UltraLearn is a social media platform for people looking to learn skills, so you can say this is your Facebook or Twitter that is dedicated to people looking to learn skills.

Whether this journey succeeds or fails, please be aware that we are giving it all it takes to see this to success and as you might guess, we are hoping it succeeds though😍.

The journey started officially on Monday the 6th of June when we were officially welcomed into the Side Hustle Bootcamp and assigned into teams with our project topics.

Please meet Our Team

So, what have we been up to this week?

Our first task was to come up with a name for our product and everyone in the team unanimously decided that UltraLearn is a great name for our product.

Before we start telling you all about the good stuff, kindly watch This Video 😊. By the way, that was the work of our video animations team at UltraLearn.

Our Vision

To become the leading face of social learning and people development across the world.

Our Mission

To create an environment t where anybody can become better versions of themselves by promoting growth conversations.

The Product Management team worked on the foundation elements of our project which includes what our product is and who our target market is, as well as the role the Product Management team would be playing throughout the course of the project. All this is contained in our Project Scope.

The team had the task to use the design thinking process to create User persona, user Flow and product requirement document. Please check This Link to see a summary of all that the team has been up to this week.

The Product Design team designed the landing page for the brand and made a user research questionnaire and we got substantial feedback which has been passed to the Microsoft Office team for further use. They have also created a Design System and low-fidelity Wireframes.

The Microsoft office team collected the survey data response from both the product management and product design team for analysis. They were able to import the data into an excel worksheet, clean the data, analyzed it using pivot tables and also created a Data Display. You can check out the wonderful stuff that they have done HERE

Our Graphics Design team worked on creating our logo, designed our flyer that shows every active member of the team and they also worked on creating our Brand Guide.

The backend team has succeeded in creating our GitHub account for collaboration and code sharing in conjunction with the Frontend team. - github.com/UltraLEARN

They also created an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) for UltraLearn. Giving a graphical representation of our database structure. This can be viewed HERE.

The front-end team created a landing page for UltraLearn where early adopters can opt-in for our newsletters to stay ahead of our official launch. We are sorry that this has not been hosted publicly yet, but you can check the codes HERE. They also worked with the backend team in creating the GitHub account as mentioned earlier.

The QA team created this Quality Assurance Roadmap for UltraLearn so as to ensure that our product is solid. They also created Test Cases for the front-end and back-end developers at every point of the flow in preparation for a test-driven development process.

Our content and Digital Marketing team created social media pages on all platforms for UltraLearn, please look out for regular updates from our social media pages😋. They created a Social media strategy for June and a content calendar which will be posted starting 13th June 2022.

The content team has also been working with Graphics, Animation, and Product design teams to ensure that they have content to work with in their journey.

I want to believe that this week has been very productive and we are off to a great start. Sometimes it feels like we have so much to do in such a little time, but I think we were made for this and we are ready to ensure that we achieve something great.

Thank you for reading and we hope to have you with us as we continue on this journey.

Cheers
